Robot assistants for business

Service robots take over repetitive tasks: delivering meals, documents and parcels, guiding guests, cleaning indoor spaces and outdoor areas. Staff spend less time walking and on routine work, and more time with guests, patients and customers. Robots attract attention, work on schedule and keep the same level of service on every shift.

What it is

A robot with open trays carries dishes from the kitchen to tables and brings back dirty dishes. The robot's screen can display the menu with dish descriptions, advertising and promotions. Several robots can work in one dining room at the same time.

How it works

The waiter places dishes on the trays and selects a table on the screen. The robot drives through the dining room by map, avoids guests and staff, stops at the right table and invites guests by voice to take their order. It serves several tables per trip, then returns to the kitchen. Between trips the screen shows the menu, daily specials and promotions, which can be updated remotely.
